Legionella Awareness Training is an important part of good Legionella management. Our Legionella awareness training provides the up to date information required to help enable you to control and management Legionella in your water systems.
Who should attend?
All employees involved in work that may expose an employee or other person to legionella should be given suitable training. These include but are not limited to Duty holders, Responsible persons building and site management, facilities & maintenance personnel whose roles and responsibility it is to manage, supervise or carry out routine maintenance tasks, as well as ensuring correct recording of all tasks & actions in the site log book.
By the end of this course learners will:
- Understand where legionella bacteria come from, how people develop Legionnaires’ disease and how it affects their health.
- Understand their legal responsibilities in regards to preventing and monitoring legionella.
- Have knowledge of the environments where legionella bacteria are commonly found.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment to identify and control the hazards.
- Have an awareness of the control measures that can be used to reduce the risks from legionella.
- Understand the importance of continually monitoring, reviewing and updating the legionella control measures.

Who is this training for?
Our half day course is designed for those who need an appreciation of Legionella to help them prevent or control the risk of exposure to Legionella bacteria. In particular for people who need to implement and monitor Legionella controls and keep the appropriate records.
Certification
All delegates passing a multiple choice question paper will receive a Legionella Awareness Training Course certificate. Qube Environmental is registered with the Legionella Control Association to deliver Training.
Venue
Training is normally delivered at your site however we can also arrange a suitable venue if required.

Prices from £395 per course for up to 6 delegates
*All costs are plus VAT. There may be additional costs if the course is held at a client’s own premises which is a significant distance from our Staffordshire head office. Or if an alternate venue is required that is not the clients premises.
