Re-opening on the 12th April? Are you Legionella complaint?

March 2021

As announced in the recent government plans that a range of businesses are set to re-open on Monday 12th April, now is the time to make sure your facilities are safe and compliant.

Many businesses have been closed during the most recent COVID-19 lockdown, it is possible that harmful levels of Legionella bacteria may have built up in stagnant water systems. This can occur when outlets are not flushed or used regularly, and the water does not flow through the system as intended giving the bacteria opportunity to multiple to dangerous levels. This can lead to Legionnaires disease which in some cases can be fatal.
